I’m an Art Director in the UK who, once upon a time, was an attorney in New York and California, so my background is… a bit unique. I’ve argued for clients in courtrooms, styled wardrobe on film shoots, and launched my own sewing pattern business, and now here I am, right where I’m meant to be, an art director in the UK.
Some of the ideas I’ve brought to life as a MSc Creative Advertising student at Edinburgh Napier University have been shortlisted for prestigious marketing recognition. My Barclays Blue Wins campaign was a Scottish Finalist at the DMA Talent Breakthrough Awards. My team's Parker x LG spec campaign for The Leith Agency won first place amongst our cohort.
My wealth of experiences has made me strategic, adaptable, and taught me to work hard and expand my brain to make cool stuff. My years as a lawyer allow me to cut through noise, think on my feet, and create clear and compelling campaigns. My business, ridhgoyalpatterns gained over 1,000 followers on Instagram in its first month and over 200 sales in its first year. ridhgoyalpatterns is now self-sufficient thanks to a dedicated fanbase that creates user-generated content.
I hail from New York City via Los Angeles, but the advertising world in the UK is where my heart is and where you can find me today.
